Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque (built in 1602-1619 AD) masterpiece of architecture and tile work eleventh century AH is on the order of Shah Abbas I built for eighteen years and the architect and building the mosque was Mohammad reza Esfahani. A very original POV on this details of the mosque. I've never entered a mosque but from the pictures I saw it looks like they are often nice pieces of architecture.
