Yesterday, after 18 years, I went to this village again during the paddy season. A few days ago, I shared a black and white photo I took of this area with a negative. This shows the new version of paddy women. In this area, everyone was related to each other and helped each other on their own farmland, and after finishing work, they went to the adjacent land.
As we approached their workplace, we came across a sign that read (No entry of personal property. You will be dealt with if you enter). I think they had this sign installed to take care of their products. I went forward and greeted the first man I saw and said with a laugh that we were no strangers and came to take pictures. They treated us sincerely. I took a picture of the man and he said I could take pictures of women too. I will share two more views in the workshop.

Hello Ali,
It is very interesting to see you returning to the same place after so many years and to see the B&W view turn into colours. The photos are very bright and nice and each one would have been good enough to be a main post. I remember clearly an early morning in a bus from Mashhad to Tehran in 1973 when I woke up to see a landscape of misty hills among wet paddy fields. It looked just like somewhere in east Asia, but it was Golestan!

Hello Ali,
Another good photo of these hard-working women in the fields, all bending over to pick the green grasses. Their clothes add lots of nice and bright colours as well.

Yes I think I have seen the old black and white version recently. I always prefer the color version and here it was particularly important because the ladies have such very colorful clothes. In fact we don't see them at all just the clothes

Hi Ali,a scene that is very reminiscent of what happened in my region many years ago, even my grandmother was dedicated to this work, a few kilometers away there are still many rice fields which, however, are now completely mechanized and no longer need to be transplanted by hand.
