The Afternoon between Rocks, a photo from Gilan, West

Photographer's Note

This rice fields is located in Alborz heights,near a place that I showed it in a shot with title of Our Fields in Heights .
I took it when It was a bit dark in afternoon and all around is mountains.

Here we can see the type of little-farming
building inside the terrase fields but it's vineyards ( very dry cultivated needed & mandatory ) not wet rice fields .

Another nice composition from out in the rice fields, Mohammad - good diagonal composition in which the hut and the tree are placed in just about the right spot amidst the green "stairs". Well done.

The textures of rice fields are always amazing in your picture. You composed a great photograph with this little cabin lost in the middle of the field and the lonely tree.

The terraces covered in grown rice gives a nice soft carpet feel to this landscape. Nice and plush. It also has the feel of a cascade of green falling down the mountain like water. The building out there seems to be withstanding that cascading force like a strong rock stands in river's rapids. Wonderful colors and textures, again. Great job.

Like all other pictures of you, I like this also showing a green IRAN, an another IRAN. We have in our memory only two colours : brown-yellow for the the desert and black for clothes. You offer us something else. Thanks for sharing Mohammad.

Dear Mohammad, assalamu'alaikum.
I always thought Iran is one hot and sandy country. Somehow I was so mistaken. She also has forest and hills, just as green as any Asean country. And the same meandering terraces of padi fields. Thank you Mohammad. Just like God said, a few seconds study of His creations is worth more than a year of singular meditation in the mosque. Wassalam.
