This photo was taken in Arbil in Iraq. The American soldier and the write which is on the wall is so contrast. The write wich is on the wall is coming from Arabic letter.İt means is God or Allah. God and American was in same frame.

I can see where you were going with this theme and it was a good attempt to try and get some sort of contrast between (what could be) two different agendas. 2 points for trying!

quelle belle photo de reportage,malheureusement,le soldat a vraiement l'air d'un boucher,ridiculement 閝uip� pour finir entre 4 planches....il y a plus de puissance dans le graffiti que dans son accoutrement de sauveur de l'humanit�.

Hmm well..war and religion often come together..
But the photo is nice and sharp, the soldier nicely placed off center. And good theme, well balanced.

i like you note allot. GOD and AmERICA not the same not together. nice metaphor. the picture is powerfull. the soldier depends on his high tech instruments, and weapons his back is face god. like he turned his back on him. very good!

Nice contrast.After 911 there's a need to a fight war,there's a need create a battlefield in order to have a war.That's my military point of view.Bullets changed the world faster than votes.It's a shame but it's true.

I like think foto a lot, good job capturing an interesting moment. I think if it was possible I would have liked to see the writing in front of him, like he was looking at it but I still see the contrast with it being behind him. I think if you had just told us that the word meant Allah we would have picked up the contrast without your explanation in the note. You should avoid telling so much about the agenda of the photo and let such a good journalistic shot speak for itself.
