1970 Fiat 600, a photo from Sharon, Central

Photographer's Note

A 1970 Fiat 600 with a beautiful banana yellow color, at the old classic cars exhibition of "The Five Club", an Israeli old cars association, originating when there were license plates with only 5 number depicted (on my pictures I cloned out the license numbers � as most owners asked).
It was held in a parking lot near Ha'Ogen junction north-east of Netanya, 32.359, 34.908 on the map.

All vehicles participating were in good riding condition, drove to and from the place.

Picture converted from RAW, F9.0, 1/250, ISO100, cropped all sides.

The tight frame is putting the car in evidence. The point of view is showing the details of the 1970 Fiat 600. The light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Do you think cars have character?
This is a really cheeky little vehicle, grinning at viewers from under its banana yellow exterior!
It's nicely captured.
I suspect that the close crop is because of the closeness of other vehicles in the exhibition.

Imagine a four heads Italian family sitting inside, that would be the perfect acoustics for the Fiat Seicento.

BTW: Five numbers in Israel indicates old cars or owners who are in possession of a (varying?) car for a long time?
In Switzerland: the shorter the number, the higher the social rank (numbers are kept in families, and those families could afford cars for many decades...).
In UK: the shorter the penis, the longer the bones (as I was told by a speaker on Hyde Park Corner).

In 1970 we owned a FIAT 500 when we lived in Papua new Guinea. It was old then, probably from the 50s and didn't synchromesh gears - just double shuffle every gear change.
This photo does bring back memories.

Hi Ike,
One of the most iconic small European cars. You captured it with modern cars in the background, so tight framing was the best you could do. The badge doesn't have "FIAT" text. That makes me wonder if this is one of the versions made outside Italy, possibly SEAT from Spain or Zastava from Yugoslavia.

A true classic from the 70s and a jewel for many middle-class families, it was the first car that, at least in Spain, they could afford when even car traffic in the cities was scarce.
An image to enjoy, with its nice color, great luminosity and sharpness.

Actually a special colour for a car. For a banana it's ok.
But this old Fiat looks very charming.
A small car that is so big that it barely fits in the picture.

Yellow is one of my favourite colour, together with a car like that.
Boom ! That's a real Beauty.
I'm beginning to like old classic car than the modern one.
It's sublime and stylish. Fun to drive ... I think it'll get a lot of attention , driving with it :-)
