Photographer's Note

After a decent rest and feed, every 揻amily as a flock start their flight by gaining lift with thermos-dynamic currents, mostly late morning time抯, circling, and each circle is in a higher elevation.
Just imagine several hundred with a loud trumpeting call, lifting from ground in tandem

First, it all start with small flock, here is quartet grey-gruses ascending.
Than, a larger group gathering and circling to gain thermo-dynamic抯 (WS #1), and as a final 揅rescendo - a large 搒quadron leaving the field after their leaders, noisey & cover large area overhead (WS #2).

All 3 photos are RAW, main pic. Is F9.0, 1/500, ISO100.
