Hi Ike,

The length of the canyon is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of this area of the Grand Canyon in the Negev desert. A good management of the strong light which does not hurt to much the output of the colors. Have a nice day.

Mornin' Ike,

Nice one to bring back from the archives, doesn't look too bad for its age. Very good usage of the natural formations to create a frame within a frame. Your positioning worked well here to have that sweeping rock wall on the right lead into the image with a fun curve and strong texture from the many years of erosion, I like the layered look it has. Glad you didn't step out much further, looks like a long way down! Lovely restoration. Have a great week.

Great, forbidding rocky canyon. The view alone can no longer assume a shiver of fear of entering there, low and did not even think. Amazing place and well presented.

what a beautiful place! I like very much deserts with unusual rock formations. I see it is an old photo but it does encourage to revisit this extraordinary place with a newer camera.

I visited this hot place many, many years back. That time no digital photo technology and my scanner is not of the best quality. That why I can not compete with your excellent photo from this interesting place. Thank you for posting it.
(P.s. may be a bit more contrast and less brightness in the front would be nice.)

Hello Ike,

You're capturing well this place by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interestng and impressive to see the approach to the canyon as the cave. It seems to have passed through considerable years from the rock layer. And, it's good at light contrast, too.

Despite its age this photo is adequately defined, a brilliant nature wonder with its amazing rock formations with just a small portion of the sky area. This looks a long way down and all perpendicular which lends the extra depth and perspective. Exposure is well managed even in darkest area and colouring is natural with lovely shadow play. A well done shot and tfs.

This looks like an interesting place to explore, but maybe it would involve some difficult physical exercise. The excitement of the view has been well rendered in the scanning process.
