A DHL Airbus A306, cargo flight from Leipzig (LEJ), Germany, split second before touch-down on runway 12 in TLV / Ben-Gurion airport.

This specific plane is 24 years on service, prior to DHL it was operated by Japan Airlines until 01/2013.

Raw, F7.1, 1/800, IASO100, cropped all sides.

I see the yellow and red DHL trucks almost every day in the streets, but more rarely the planes. They are equally bright and suitable for photography, and this one you captured well while it was still hanging in the air. You had good light and managed perfect sharpness on the plane.

Hello Ike, good timing capturing the plane just before touch down. Of course the bright yellow and red grab our attention especially here with the city in a hazy light in the background.

You are right, some sights never stop to amaze us.
Here the yellow color of the plane makes such a huge difference! It really stands out from the city seen through a haze.

The red and yellow plane just departing from the runway stands out so well from the town in the background and the haze over it and the hills in the distance. Well timed and captured.

Hi Ike.
Great composition with the plane taking off, its color is a real impact on the composition, the city is ideal as a background.
When I go along the highway on the way to Madrid, they always cross over it at low altitude and the planes to land in Barajas, however I never saw any of DHL and with this color it does not go unnoticed.
Perfect lighting and sharpness.

The bright colours of the plane make it stand out strongly against the background.
Yet I like the view of the densely built-up city.
I have the impression that people here live very close to the airport ... although I also live at 8 km from the national airport. Yet it seems further away from my home.

Hello Ike,
It's indeed very 'Intriguing' to watch planes touching-down on the runway.
The noise or sound ... when the wheels landed on the tarmac with a big 'screech' and 'smoke' ( I wish you've caught that on camera ).
And also landing on a stormy day. I guess the pilots should've a lot of experienced to handle this kind of situations.
This is such a striking DHL plane against the city b/g.

Ha! Ha! Ike, this can't sit in the trees like your previous subject but it can certainly fly further!
You are skilled at photographing aeroplanes in flight. This one is nice and sharp against a useful, oof b/g.
