Red Mercedes, a photo from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Photographer's Note

Three pictures of a Mercedes newly painted red, a model I only assume is from early 1980th, series 190E.
A "collectore's vehicle" as the license plate says in Hebrew, which I cloned out its registration number.

A cell-phone pictures at dusk, under the light of a street lamp-post, cropped all sides in all three pictures.
Found while strolling in my town.

I've 200.000km driven with almost the same also 1980 also red of colour, but a 190 D.
The best car that I also have had.
I've much good remembrance at this type car.
I am happy with your picture.
You create depth and perspective.
Sharpness and clarity are superb.

Hello Ike,
Wow, this car is really brightly red and the hood reflects the overhanging branches and the lamp post really well. Good photo from a good angle, the narrow composition works well too.

Hi Ike,

The tight frame is puttin the car uin evidence. The point of view is showing the details of the Mercedes. I prefer the colors of the main picture compared to the workshop. Have a nice day.

un modello che ha fatto la storia dell'auto, se ne vedevano molte in giro e hanno avuto una lunga vita.
Questa in foto sembra ancora messa bene, a parte la croce sul radiatore, il resto sembra in perfetto stato di conservazione.

Bonsoir, cher Ike,
Elle est encore tr鑣 belle cette Mercedes des ann閑s 80, elle donne l'impression d'阾re un mod鑜e Classe C, la 190 de 1982, ou encore la Classe S W126 de 1979 !
Quoi qu'il en soit, elle est tr鑣 bien conserv閑 et les prises de vue pour un t閘閜hone portable sont tr鑣 bonnes.

The close cropping put the emphasis on this beautiful old lady. Superb colour contrasts. The reflections in the peerless paintwork are an asset.

Remembering the other photographs of cars that you have posted, I'm pretty sure that this was closely parked. I'm like you though, these old, classic cars just have to be photographed, they are so distinctive and full of character!
The colour of this one will definitely turn heads!
You have shown the smooth, shiny textures of its paintwork and its gleaming metal work. It is obviously loved!

Dommage le petit sigles eevant est cass� il faut le remplacer quelle voiture rouge et pas n'importe quoi une mercedes et ancienne quelle iamge 鏰 c'c'est du swolide du cotaud tr鑣 belle vue de cette voiture.

Good sharpness in this superb wide angled view of the red Mercedes with nice reflections in the shiny bonnet. The tilted front wheel suggests the driver is impatient to exit when he or she returns! Tfs!

I suppose that in many European towns it isn抰 allowed any longer to drive with this Mercedes. To much pollution! So a place in a museum is al that is left for the piece of automobile history.

for obvious reasons, when you post a close up of a RED car, its going to stand out on your gallery page! haha
yes, this one stood out for me.

this older model car has been kept up in fantastic condition, looks almost brand new. I've never been a fan of the single wiper blade on the windshield, but thats mercedes!

Ike, that German model was successful in many countries during the 90's. The car was repainted in red color by its owner, it s not its original painting. The collector's vehicle seems to be in good condition.
