Early Sunday stroll, a photo from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Photographer's Note

An early Sunday stroll, I came through one charming corner of the Givatayim-Park, 32.064, 34.8117 on the map.
Decided to take this with my Cell-Phone despite the low light prevailing conditions.

The statue within the garden is a memorial monument sculpted by Mordecai Kafri. Also, this section of the park named after one mythological school-master lady, that its building shown through the trees.

Elevated luminance-curve and saturation curve by just a bit.

Looks as if you had this lovely park all to yourself; very pleasant place for an early morning stroll. The statue, which is nicely placed in the frame, makes a useful focal point. Pleasant lights and agreeable natural colours; very good sharpness. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,
I love the calm mood of this photo. There's not a single person in sight, the light is pleasant, even though it made the sky completely white and the green of the grass and trees is attractive. Great impression of this place.

Hello Ike,
There is always something special with seeing photos on TE taken somewhere far away from me the same day. It's almost like watching live news on the site. There is good balance between the trees, as well as between the bench and the white statue. The diagonal made by the path also gives a kind of stability to the photo.

Hi Ike,

The length of the path is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the bench. The good luminosity is bringing out the colors. Have a nice dya.

Hello Ike,
the park looks lovely and quite fresh for this time of the year, I like the atmosphere created by the defused light and the soft shadows. The tree is graceful but maybe too centrally placed, in my opinion, it splits the perspective and makes the monument and the bench compete hard for our attention. Clarity is great and the colours very relaxing, it's pleasing to take a visual stroll there too. Congratulations and thank you!

Hi Ike,
lovely park scene. This feels more like Europe, I say that because most of the time the parks which you show from Israel feel more exotic, this resembles more parks which I am used to.
Very relaxing scene with the bench and some sculpture along the path.
Your phone makes quite good photos, I wonder when people will switch to phones completely...

Hello Ike,

A Sunday morning stroll used to be high on our agenda, though nowadays, we tend to be metal detecting or keeping up with family on a Sunday!

This looks like such a tranquil place, created by the lush green and the shady path. The waiting bench is an obvious enticement!
I like how you have used the pathway so effectively, leading to the strongly placed, monumental sculpture.
What tree is showing those orange berries? Is it a rowan?

Who would've thought cell phones would take as nice photos as this one? I am sure the camera in the iPhone 6 is better than some full-fledged cameras on the cheaper end of the scale.

Hi Ike

The same poinciana trees as in Brisbane and Cairo. I think they are native to Mexico but their splashes of red flowers make them a popular ornamental tree worldwide. Good sharpness and density levels. The statue provides a focal point. Tfs!

Hello Ike,

Isn't remarkable how good the optics of smartphones have become that you can make such picture. The colors and resolution are superb, the composition is function of the photographer, and just as good.
