This is one of my favorite photos I took on this trip to Israel, Jordan and Egypt. I loved how the sunlight was streaming in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and illuminating the pilgrims as they begin to climb the stairs to Golgotha/Calvary.

A very interesting photo. Clothing is exotic with both hoods and ball caps combines. In this great position we can see the effort to go through the door - nice view point, overall a very good composition. drt100 David

Hello Eric,

Though the highlights are somehow burnt out, the lights create an eternal atmosphere around the pilgrims. A nice observation and realization!
