Photographer's Note

The Flame is a sculpture in the Bloomfield garden, near the Montefiore Windmill in Mishkenot complacent.
A statue is made of bronze and stainless-steel, 4m high. Shape of the sculpture is reminiscent flame fire and towering palms up.
The statue was designed by Israeli sculptor Gidon Graetz.

A 16:9 aspect ratio, cropped a bit on side of the photo. Location on map: 31.7702, 35.2243

Hello Ike - Your shot shows off the fluid lines, depth and volumes of this attractive sculpture very well. I like the contrast of the reflective and matt surfaces which give the piece interesting textural details and variations in the way the light is reflected.

A striking composition and a feat to the eye and how well this huge artwork stands out emphasising the shapes strongly resembling the glowing flame within the surroundings without any distraction, backed up by good lighting and saturated colours to illustrate this piece. It's sharp in focus, awesomely detailed and the wow super metallic shiners there! with glimpses of fabulous reflections to vitalise the image. Extremely effective and attractive urban decor. Very well done shot, Congrats.

What a wonderful clear picture with this wonderful statue.
Maybe one advice, in future I would try one point to photographing with a blur background.
This would the statue yet more give a wonderful view.

This is really a beautiful sculpture, and the bronze coloring really shines under the bright daylight. Certainly a perfect choice for the vertical composition, and you were wise to leave ample surrounding space for it to "breathe." I see several themes in one here. Firstly 2 entwined flames which is the original intent, secondly 2 Salvadore Dali like melted forks twisted around each other and finally a pair of hands perhaps in prayer? A nice abstract shot with many interpretations. Good sharpness as always. Tfs!

Looking at the polished surface I imagine it would offer many different photo opportunities depending on the position of the sun and the immediate surroundings. The information that it is 4 meters high is quite important for understanding its impact on the viewers.
