Heavy fog morning, a photo from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Photographer's Note

There was no rain for more than two weeks in Israel, we experience heavy fog every morning in the last 5 days, feels like England�
Visibility was less than 100m.

Two pictures taken with my cellphone at around 07:30 while I took my daily stroll, show the wide front yard of the Givatayim-Mall at 32.067, 34.8089 on the map.
Main picture was horizontally cropped.

Apparently not a good day for plane spotting. I think both times is was in Israel were about this time of the year, but I don't remember this kind of heavy fog. It's an interesting view.

On the plus side, the fog adds a mysterious mood and has given a superb, soft diffused light. Good sharpness and well framed and composed. Tfs!

Hello Ike,
We've had quite some foggy days as well recently. This is a good impression of the current weather you're experiencing, in which the building barely manage to emerge from the dense fog. The overhanging trees add a good contrast.

it does feel like England indeed. The advert is in different alphabet though which confirms the location.
Not easy conditions to take photos.

The sign is eyecatching. The point of view is showing the details of the sign and of the structure in the background. The fog is giving a speciall mood to the scene. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,

Are you still in a lockdown situation, where you are only allowed to walk a certain distance from your home?

I like misty days!
They add a sense of mystery to a scene because details become blurred and your imaginations comes into play.

This is not a particularly interesting scene but does show the results that occur when mist descends on an urban area.

Hi Ike,In my village, when it's clear, the fog is a must, and it's so thick that you can't see the church in front of my house. Strange thing instead from you, so it was a good opportunity to take some original photos, considering that we cannot travel, at least the weather gave us a little help to photograph something different. Wish I had seen it like this, my one day in Tel Aviv was clear sky and sunshine (lovely as it was).
Fantastic photo full of atmosphere. I like the mist and also the frame created by silhouetted tree branch.

Without the fog this wouldn't be much of a photo but the fog gives it a great deal of atmosphere.

Hi Ike.
Two great photos with everything wrapped in the fog, always the effect is very curious and gives a feeling of winter cold.
We here now have a great snow storm with low temperatures and for next week we will have temperatures of -9 and even -11, today it has been snowing all day in Madrid and it seems that tomorrow it will continue even worse, so at home at hot.
A magnificent photo, with good lighting.

Hello Ike,
That's indeed a thick layer of fog. You can hardly see the tall buildings in the distance.
Since you in Israel are going so fast with the number of vaccinations, you will no doubt be the first (or at least right after New Zealand) to be able to suppress the virus.
