Nabi Mosa is a pilgrim inn which a mosque built within the premises.
It is a huge edifice, a whole view picture only would be available from a long range distant perspective out in the desert. Location at 31.7865, 35.4316 on the map.

Thereafter, will show pictures of sections as a WS"s.

Hello Ike,
This reminds me very much of a similar place I saw in the Turkish part of Nicosia, Cyprus. Similar architecture and opportunities for refreshments downstairs, It's a lively view and it's brightened by the red and green sign. Strictly aesthetically I would say the WS are more attractive, especially the rather minimalistic #2, but of course they lack the human touch.

Hi Ike,
it reminds me the one which I have seen in Cyprus.
I like the repeated motif of the dome. People wearing masks indicate it is a recent photo. I wonder whether we will wear them now forever of just for a couple more years :)

THe presence of the persons is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the Nabi-Moser inner yard. A good management of the strong light which does not hurt the colors output. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,

For me, this is the most interesting of your photographs, though I do appreciate the chance to see the closer design of the mosque and its minaret.

It would seem that this is a popular, tourist destination, not surprising when such a unique building is available to explore, with chances of refreshments in the hot climate. (I presume that the tables and chairs are for visitors to gain refreshments.)
The red and green feature does seem a little out of context, amid the neat stone walls but, along with the tree, offers a bright change of colours and textures.

Hello Ike,

A well touristed part of the inn, with loads of colour and activity. Good repetition of the domes and the Ramadan object in the bg is similar to the one in my Egyptian Hotel in Luxor. Perfect sharpness and good framing despite the limitations of the lens. I am not a big fan of fish eye lens shots or long, stitched images, so I will look forward to the rest of your uploads. Tfs!

I'm not sure if this pilgrim inn served the same purpose as a caravanserai.
The building here reminds me of a caravanserai I saw in Akko and also of another one in Lefkoşa, Northern Cyprus.
Nice extensive series to present this restored building.

A large patio very characteristic of the area with the semicircular arches and the rounded vaults above, the entrance door to the complex and the tower of the mosque in the WS, gives us a good idea of this place.
Good colors in soft tones, excellent sharpness and light.

Interesting claim - that this is Moses' tomb. As far as I know, his place of burial is not specified. It must be another one of those "dream discoveries."
