Photographer's Note

A fringe shot, to get fuzzy impressions of a small cave.

The cave is called Soreq and it was discovered as a result of an explosion in the nearby quarry, in 1986. The blast opened a window into a cave which was hidden from the rest of the world for a few million years; full of ancient and pretty stalatictes and stalagmites.

It is located in the Judean hills, near the town of Bet Shemesh, more or less at the middle of the road between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Photography is forbidden, except on Friday mornings.
