Photographer's Note

From time to time I let myself succumb to this urge of sharing my photo memories with you. It makes me sad that I have so few decent scans, so every time I am browsing my archives and it crosses my mind "hmmm, maybe this one is worth a post", there I go...

I guess that this amazing region of Capadocia doesn't need to be introduced to anyone who ever was interested about the (many!) major highlights that Turkey has to offer to its visitors. These rock formations usually called fairy chimneys are the most famous features of the landscape of the region, but its villages, ruins of very old monasteries (probably that kind of thing first appeared here) and underground cities would still be enough to make this place an amazing and unique destination.

I have no idea of where exactly I shot this one. I am just hoping that at least the province/state is correct. I am pretty sure that this post of jemaflor was shot on the same area. Curiously, it was also taken only some days before mine.

I posted another view in a WS.
