Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (Arabic :جامع الشيخ زايد الكبير) is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was initiated by the late President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who is fondly thought of as the father of the UAE. His final resting place is located on the grounds beside the same mosque.

As the country抯 grand mosque, it is the key place of worship for Friday gathering and Eid prayers. It is the largest mosque in the UAE and numbers during Eid can be more than forty thousand people.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center (SZGMC) offices are located in the east minarets. SZGMC manages the day to day operations, as a place of worship and Friday gathering and also a center of learning and discovery through its educational cultural activities and visitor programs. Information and online visitor services are available through the official website www.szgmc.ae.

The library, located in the north/east minaret, serves the community with classic books and publications addressing a range of Islamic subjects: sciences, civilization, calligraphy, the arts, coins and includes some rare publications dating back more than 200 years. In reflection of the diversity of the Islamic world and the United Arab Emirates, the collection comprises material in a broad range of languages including Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish, German and Korean. The library is open everyday except Fridays and full information can be found at the official website (www.szgmc.ae).

A very stylish mosque photographed under a wonderful weather by a skillful photographer... what else? :) I simply love it... the bright light makes the domes and the minaret shine, and with a lot of sky, it breathes well.

this architecture of the Grand Mosque is stunningly beautiful, a very impressive.
Compo is perfectly well done. Color, sharpness, clarity of so many beautiful details, fantastic POV and DOF amazing. I love the white color of Mosque against blue sky and greenery around. AWESOME!!!!!
Manuel, did you do any pictures inside? maybe you couldn't. I like it a very much. Great job.

vedo che dal tuo tour negli Emirati arabi, hai portato parecchio materiale fotografico, tutto di ottima qualit�.
Bellissima l'architettura di questa grande Moschea, nonch� eccellente la qualit� fotografica.
Ottimo punto di osservazione e bel contrasto tra il bianco dell'edificio e l'azzurro del cielo.

Qu� bien te lo montas, eres un gran viajero a destinos muy diferentes, te envidio!.
Es fant醩tica esta gran mezquita blanca con unas bellas torres y c鷓ulas.
Muy bien trabajda la luz para que ese blanco reluciente no se quemara.
