This is a photo from Downtown Ottawa, which is the economic and commercial centre of the town. Downtown Ottawa is notable for its many very attractive glass facades, which often manage to show their surroundings in a even more attractive way. Here's the junction of Metcalfe Street and Albert Street.

Hallo Lars,
Dat zijn inderdaad wel heel wat gebouwen weerspiegeld in dat ene hoge hoekgebouw.
Verschillende stijlen en verschillende kleuren mooi samengebracht.
En de roodwitte autobus zorgt voor een goed passende voorgrond.
Uitstekende compositie!

Ik moest toch even in mijn archief duiken om deze plek terug te vinden. Ik heb een hoop details van deze spiegelde gevel en maar een overzichtsfoto en die is niet zo mooi als deze.

The reflections on the windows are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the buildings and of the reflections. The good luminosity is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

Hello Lars,
Great reflections! The building with arches reminds me of the architecture at Lincoln Center. With the colorful bus and all of the people walking around, this is a vibrant street scene. I also like the colorful boxes on the corner containing papers and magazines.

Hello Lars,
With fa鏰des such as these you can do the sightseeing in half time. There's no need to watch both sides of the street ;-). These are stunning reflections and the photo also offers lots of colours among the traffic, pedestrians and the....what? Mailboxes, newspaper automats, containers for recycling...?

Hello Lars,

All great artists go through "phases" and I well remember your "reflections phase" several years ago and one photograph in particular which stuck in my mind - the reflection in the glass fa鏰de of Edinburgh's Festival Theatre of Surgeons' Hall which I well remember visiting to sit exams before eventually becoming a fellow thereof.

And this is another fine photograph in that same genre, the tall modern glass fronted building providing beautiful, almost Impressionistic, reflections of the buildings opposite it. I like your composition and the inclusion of people which add human interest as well as a fine sense of scale.

Lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

I have see Canada and the States have not so big difference in the cities. And the Northern States have similar nature and landscapes. Anyway I'd like to visit Canada someday.
