Photographer's Note
Canada 100
This is my 100th photo from Canada, which makes it the fourth country in my gallery to reach that number of uploads. It is also the 109th and last photo in my 2019 travelogue, at least for now. It is also one of the last photos I took in Calgary.
The photo shows two other office towers in downtown Calgary, both located on Fourth Street between Third and Fourth Avenue. On the left you can see the Altius Centre, 126 metres tall and completed in 1973, on the right is Shell Centre, 140 metres and completed in 1977.

Hello Lars,
This is a clever composition, and I hope you didn't strain your neck looking up. ;-) We get two modern skyscrapers and one great reflection, together with a lovely, blue sky. Nice urban shot! Take good care...

Hi Lars
A great leaning back photo (unless, of course, you camera has a fully fold out and turn around screen) and you even managed a last Canadian reflection.
We wait to see where you take us next which might be a while with the coronavirus.

Hej Lars,
Trevlig helg,
Gert

Hello lars,
I cannot help becoming anthropomorphic!
These buildings appear to be sparring, like wrestlers, face to face!
Of course, you would imagine the one on the left to dominate; regard its size!
Your photograph is, as always, pin-sharp. and I love the way the smaller building is reflecting on the larger one!
Keep safe,
Bev :-)

Dag lars,
John

A very nice idea and a very good photo, it seems the left building is "heavier" and more massive, perfect details

Hello Lars,
Yet another reflections photo! And yet I must confess that I shall never tire of them! This one, of course, is perhaps a little simpler to understand than many because we see both the "mirror" and the "reflected object" in the same frame - and that gives us a degree of symmetry which is always pleasing to the eye. And, of course, it also allows us to compare the original object with its mirrored image too.
There is a lovely symmetry to this one, the light and colours are wonderful and, as always, the details and sharpness are exquisite.
And an excellent note too.
Fabulous!
Kind Regards,
John.

Lars, the pov placed at the skyscrapers foot is dizzying. It accentuates the impressive size of these buildings. Nice golden reflection on the blue facade on the left. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Dag Lars,
I found Calgary to be a very photogenic city and cleaner and friendlier than some US cities. Good balanced composition with excellent sharpness and upward pov. Nice reflections too. Tfs!

Hi Lars,
Impressive pair of skyscrapers shown on a directly upwards angle. Bright reflection on the left looks great. Top floor is a surprising location for a Shell logo. Luckily picture counters still work. No doubt Canada is worth of many visits and pictures.

Hi Lars
Impressive vertical perspective, the lighted skyscrapper seems to look into a mirror to check that everything is OK.

Hallo Lars,
Op deze overwegend blauwe foto vind ik de warme kleuren van het weerspiegelde gebouw links bijzonder aantrekkelijk.
Gelukwensen met je 100ste foto van Canada!

Hello Lars
Like the three for one image. The reflection makes this image a money maker. Spectacular capture. I guess looking up pays off once in while. Nice capture

Hello Lars, an excellent observation, seeing the reflection of the right hand building on the glass of the left hand building, of course you would notice that! You are so good at finding this type of subject.
The blue sky is the perfect complement.
How many shots did you take to get such a perfect shot?
Wonderful work.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Lars
I have a few photos like just this one, but taken in Manhattan.
Always fun to hit 100 photos on a country, i'm only 3 away from that figure with Iceland. with this post, did you try moving the photo around and around in post processing? its fun to see which angle works best visually. love the way the blue light on the left is darker than all the rest. fun reflection shot
cheers

Hi Lars.
Perspective that wants to get to heaven, these two mammoth buildings seem to be competing; notable architectural differences between them.
Very effective coloring, which highlights the details of the image.
Good management, both of brightness and sharpness.
Very well done. I like.
Enjoy the weekend, but taking care of yourself.
My best wishes for you.

Dag Lars,
Groet Rob

Hello Lars,
I don't know what is frightening - looking up or looking down?
A simple shot with this two skyscrapers proving what humans can achieved in this modern society in the whole world.
Matter of fact, I'm quite dizzy looking at it too.
Well seen. tfs.
