Pictured here is Mount Burgess at Yoho National Park in BC. You could say that it is a very old mountain and with its rugged features showing traces of erosion due to forces of nature it is no wonder that the area is also known to be a fossil site preserving earliest known life. At the foreground is Emerald Lake which as the name suggest has a uniquely emerald green color. Converted this to black and white to emphasize the ruggedness quality of the scene.
