Immaculate Conception Cathedral, a photo from Veracruz, Gulf

Photographer's Note

Located in the main square. Its construction began in the late 17th century and ended in the early 18th. It houses three important images for the city: the Virgin of Covadonga which patronal feast is on September 8, the Immaculate Conception Virgin and the Virgin of Solitude.

A splendid view of the cathedral taken from a well elevated spot.
Remarkable soft blue tones of the tower and facades that make me think at churches in eastern Europe.
Presented from a good angle.

Found a high point to take this marvelous sight, Pedro, the cathedral is really an immaculate design and built.
I see also several other towers and domes to take a diff. angle of this building.
Stunning light-blue tone well rendered.

nice the panoramic view of the Cathedral as is found in the main square of the town.I like the good presentation with the colourful dome on the backdrop to be the eye catching of the scene.

I like the high, elevated vantage point and the soft contrasting pastel colors of pale blue and yellow. Good sharpness and the luxuriant green foliage adds a splash of colour and a tropical mood. Tfs!

wow, this one really jumped out at me from your gallery page, and how could it not! its quite the striking image in this vertical format and in this pale blue color.

even the walkway on the bottom left is very attractive, you can see how the people have cared for this area. well captured photo all around. cheers
