Photographer's Note

Church and convent built in the 16th century under the direction of dominican friars.
Over time it was used as a school for girls, jail and municipal library. Currently it houses a museum and a cultural center.
Chiapa de Corzo is a town of 45000 inhabitants, founded on 1th March 1528

Hola Pedro,
A fair distant POV upon the church and convent building, a whole with included.
The mild light was well handled and there is a good contrast from the brown lot in front.

Hello Pedro,
Beautiful traditional architecture with certain parts of the white building nicely painted in red.
Very nice with the red domes too.
I've never seen this convent but several decades ago I took a boat trip on the nearby river in the Sumidero canyon.
