Mascaron, a photo from Quintana Roo, Southeast

Photographer's Note

Mask (Mascaron, in Spanish) in the Temple A-1, in the ancient Mayan city of Kohunlich. It is about 2 metres high and was built between 200-600 AC in stucco (lime and sand).
These large masks were ornamental elements, according to archaeologists.

As far as I know, these maskarons have their importance, interesting detail, it is a kind of reportage photo taken with good sharpness and details

While in high school in the Philippines we studied the culture and arts of Mexico and south America, nice capture of this old sculpture with good details. Well done, tfs.
