Photographer's Note
Mask (Mascaron, in Spanish) in the Temple A-1, in the ancient Mayan city of Kohunlich. It is about 2 metres high and was built between 200-600 AC in stucco (lime and sand).
These large masks were ornamental elements, according to archaeologists.
