Series on my Trip to CANADA - From January 8th to February 1st, 2010 - #004 !

O'HARE'S COLORS AND LIGHTS!

My trip to Canada started with two flights: S肙 PAULO-CHICAGO and CHICAGO-TORONTO (flying UNITED AIRLINES)! I arrived at CHICAGO'S O'HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT at 6 o'clock in the morning and my next plane to TORONTO would only be at 2 o'clock in the afternoon! Plenty of time to go thru all the airport procedures and lots of pictures in that giant airport! Here's one for you all!

Having some spare time, take a look at this:

Hello Ney,
A rather unusual sort of picture from you :-) This well framed composition makes an interesting graphical image. The people in silhouette pulling their suitcases are very well included and contribute much to the overall composition as do the eerie green and yellow tones. Very well observed and presented.

bel grafismo e piacevoli sfumature di colore.
Perfette le linee prospettiche che ritengo fondamentale rispettare in foto come questa.
Bello l'inserimento dei tre uomini al passo con i trolley in quanto danno vita e movimento alla scena.

Bonjour Neyvan,

J'aime beaucoup l'id閑 de cette photo, cette recherche du graphisme et des couleurs. C'est un lieu effectivement tr鑣 int閞essant pour ce genre de photographie. C'est plein de courbes et de couleurs qui flashent. Bonne id閑 aussi d'inclure quelques voyageurs.
Personnellement, j'aurais peut-阾re fait un cadrage un peu plus serr�, en r閐uisant la place donn� au sol pour que cette photo ne contienne vraiment que des couleurs 閏latantes.

Very interesting image, with a futurist kind of atmosphere. The anonymous figures, the atmosphere is coldly modern depite the wonderful colours. This is so well taken and well done. Great work.

Good idea to bring your camera when you travel and have 8 hours between connecting flights. Nowadays, Security persons can ask you what are you doing when taking picture (It happens to me in Manchester).
Good colors, and the silhouettes of businessmen are a bonus.

Hmmm..Refreshing..something that wont miss the eye. The proportions and the framing could have been worked out. too much of the floor. Think a lower shutter could have added a more surrealist effect. I am just talking about my taste.

Well, you spent your time very effectively at the airport! Well done :)

I love the lighting, the contours, the reflections and the three business travellers who don't look as if they're talking to each other but are fully focused on the task ahead.

Hello Neyvan, A well framed composition, with all those green tones, lines & silhouettes combining to make this an interesting graphical image. I like the WS version but I also like the shadows these guys cast, i think it is an interesting element, Well done, Excellent colours & clarity, well seen & well realised.

uma das suas mais belas fotos. muito bonita. gostei demais das luzes coloridas, das linhas e das silhuetas bem colocadas. uma daquelas fotos imperd韛eis. gostei muito.

I love this kind of photo, with silhouettes and great colors. The graphism is wonderful, and I really like that we get the reflections on both the ceiling and the floor. I looked at the workshop, and I like the original version better, only because in your original photo we get the full reflections of the people on the floor.

Hello Ney,

This is an amazing photo, because it looks so 'space age'. Nothing in this photo is natural, everything being man-made, an interesting environment to photograph. The differing stances of the travelers and the shadows on the ground give the sense of motion and direction, while they are semi-silhouetted against the colourful panels. A great moment to capture, thanks for noticing this potential and sharing it with us.

Oi Ney,

Colours and shapes are my 'thing' and you really captured the colurs and dynamics of modern airports- the transience and brevitiy, also with a great POV: men in raincoats and suits: Winter/cold outside, business and rush.
