Hi Tola
Effective tight framing, & well composed. I would boost contrast, & add gaussian blur to selected bg parts, as well as sharpen slightly. Good tonal range & pov. Tfs!

Hi Tola,
I am glad about the picture. I Kung fu. Badly. Two years made. I hated to run. To see a harmony on your photo. Good B/W choice.

Nice shot, works well in black and white. I used to do another art form, Jujitsu, some years back and loved it. Nice work and TFS.

Hello Tola,
I once would have been crazy for martial arts. I've never seen Aikido performers before. I think black and white was a good choice for this photo! Well done! Thank you for sharing!

Hello Tola
The tight framing is very effective here & B&W fits this shot very well. Tones are good, but a little contrast could have helped IMO.

Hello Tola,
Interesting point of view focused on the arms and hands. I find the B&W treatment is a good idea due to the colors and the clothes. However, I think the picture is a quite grey and this can be got better using the curve tool in Photoshop.
For sure the grey style rendering is a choice and all can be justified, but I really think that on this shot it can be better and the end.
Yves.

Hi Tola,
A very unique shot! Something that I haven't seen before. Love your composition, your choice of only showing the hands instead of the face was a good one. B/W also works beautifully here, contrasts so well.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tola
You captured the moment. This could be a frame of a film.
The composition is very good and the B&W is appropriate.

Hi Tola,
In this picture two persons are communicating, and what I can see not only with the hands so I have a little problem with framing: either alone the hands or also more detail of there body posture/face etc. Nevertheless interesting photo.

Hello Tola,
This photograph is really symbolic system of the Aikido: the way of the harmony.
And of course the black (Hakama) and white (Kimono) are essential.
Thank you.
