In my mind, Christmas season is not complete without a visit to Kraynak's and their Santa's Christmasland Display. On this Christmas Eve, I am going upload a few of the scenes from their display.

The main entry reveals a secret about Christmas shopping this year. You may have heard about certain product shortages because of supply chain problems. In the media, these problems are all attributed to COVID-19. Here is the secret: If you did not get what you ordered for Christmas, the supply chain shortage was not due to the pandemic, but it was because the elves were busy playing instead of wrapping presents. Here, I have proof that they were playing Twister rather than performing their chores.

Hello Murat,
I specifically asked that all I wanted for Christmas this year was a good dinner in the company of those closest to me. So I didn't have to suffer because of the supply chain shortage. I hope you and your family somehow managed to cope with those problems.

Hello Murat!

Now all Christmas secrets have been revealed! But there must also be lots of them hidden on container ships, eager to throw the load off board and thus cause shortages in electronic devices.
I have been to an open air ecumenical Christmas service on our local market square yesterday, done by the protestants in front of the catholic parish church and with a lot of social - not human - distancing. Alas!
A Merry Christmas to you and all of your family from Ahr valley which drowned in a terrible deluge five months ago.
