Photographer's Note
The thundering Havasu Falls is located on the lands of the Havasupai people in the Western expanse of the Grand Canyon in Northern Arizona. To reach these 37 meter chutes, hikers must complete the 15 kilometer trek from the canyon rim and obtain the consent of the Havasupai tribe. The brilliant turquoise waters (caused by high levels of calcium carbonate) are enough to forget about your sore feet, but to truly experience the incredible creek and its succession of amazing falls, you must not hesitate to dive in.

This is a beautiful shot of a beautiful place. It is probably very difficult to find a spot that presents the waterfall from a good shooting angle. Presumably this time a year the waterfall would be much smaller.

Hello Brian,
Wow ! This looks very impressive.
After the trek of 15 km. you were really rewarded with a great view. The white chutes, the turqoise pool and the green trees are wonderful between those red rocks.
Best regards, Paul

Very nice shot Brian !
Colors are splendid. I have never seen a waterfall like this. Water purity is amazing and the contrast between water and, red rock and vegetation is beautiful. Perhaps sharpness of red rock and vegetation may be improved but it's a very good shot with a good POV and a good composition.
Congratulations Brian.
Best regards,
Magali K.
PS : I can't add you points as I wanted, I don't know why I haven't this possibility, I haven't the smileys.?? Sorry

Hi Brian, Wonderful waterfall in Havasupai land, very impressive place, wonderful colour of water. Probably in spring time it looks specially well. When I was a year ago in the US Park, the waterfalls were dry :(. It must have been splendid hiking there.
Warm regards

This is beautiful! really beautiful. I thought it was shot somewhere else, like Africa or south America. Forgive my lack of knowledge...
oh, you missed a splendid occasion of closing the aperture and going for a longer exposure...I don't care if you had a tripod or not. With such an occasion, you find tricks. you use your bag, coat...anything. You shot this at 6.3 so you could have had a longer exposure by many stops. anyway, just a thought...
I would have liked to see a wider view. Did you have a wider focal lenght avalaible?
I just found your gallery, I might write a couple of critiques if you don't mind.
