Photographer's Note
Wandering the relatively small area (tens of acres, not hundreds or thousands) of the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument known as White Pocket I came across this area where the white sandstone had weathered away revealing the underlying red layer. Wind had carried sand into it and then sculpted the sand into an ancient sea creature fossil-like appearance.
