Photographer's Note
Like a red river growing and flowing from a multitude of springs in the snow capped mountains, the underlying vermilion sandstone emerges (has been etched) from the white stone that gives White Pocket its name.

Hi Mark,
This is the type of photography which I would really like to do. I love American Southwest. I lived in LA for a couple of years but it was in the predigital times and I could not afford a decent car so my trips were limited. I have seen a lot but this place came on my radar quite recently. So I have it still on my list of places to visit.
The colors are amazing. So very red and amazing blue!
Fantastic depth of the field.
Great composition. I love it!
