Photographer's Note
A bleached bone, a reminder of when cattle roamed the area searching for food and water, finding little of either. White Pocket is now protected from their incursions with a perimeter fence and an almost battlement like cattle guard attempting which tries to high center entering vehicles.
In the background, the deep vermilion mound is Coyote Butte. However, "The Wave" isn't on the butte, but in the light colored stone area to its right.
The bone was in place when I arrived.
