Photographer's Note

In 1984, a group of sculptors from Loveland, as well as some city representatives and other interested parties developed an idea of holding a sculpture show in Benson Park. The following year (1985), their idea was launched resulting in Benson Park Sculpture Garden.

In mid August, the Loveland High Plains Arts Council (LHPAC) put up an annual 慡how and Sale� event in the park for visitors to participate for a small fee, called the Sculpture in the Park festival. The proceeds from the event contribute to acquiring an addition to the park抯 collection and to its maintenance and improvement.

The LHPAC has donated all of the 172 sculptures currently on display. Over the years, the exhibits have extended from Benson Sculpture Garden to North Lake Park across the road.

We are looking at the Grassland Middle Pond of Benson Park, which serves as a wildlife habitat.

Lepo mesto sa zelenilom i skulpturama, dobro pokzano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa oblacima koji dolaze.

Hello Murat,
Simon & Garfunkel's song would not have been such a great hit if it had been given the same title as this photo. It's actually a surprise to find a bridge in the background of this 'meadow'. I get an image of a surrealistic installation.

Very nice natural scenery. The bridge is almost hidden but by pointing it out you helped us to notice it and seeing it now I admit it makes a huge difference for the composition.
