Photographer's Note
The Minnow Shack is a nostalgic fixture in the Northwoods of Wisconsin on Star Lake.
The image was taken on an overcast day which actually made a more even-toned outcome of the building. The downside was a white sky with no detail.

Great shot. It almost says that it's an old photo scanned in. I think there was a segment on PBS about this property and owner wasn't there? If memory serves me, it was an elderly lady that ran the place and she had all old memorabilia inside. A boat launch and bait stop. I love the back roads of America, there is such history to see if you look.

just back from treaklens with the same one in colour... not easy to make a choice but here the B&W and classic POV are really in connection with the subject. A very touching shot.
