Why is it that abandoned vehicles make such good photographs? Maybe it's to do with nostalgia, or is it just the rust? Whatever, I was immediately drawn to this wreck proudly flying the stars and stripes!

Such pickups are essential part of American history. And rust makes this one quite picturesque. It is fun to se U.S. flag on the back of the pickup.

You are right, there is something special about old things, old cars a good example, never mind rust. The light paints it nicely against the dark background and the flag adds a strong sense of place.

Its seems that this rotting Yank iron has found its final resting place but it looks catchy and hard to ignore the beauty of the bygone era minus all the aerodynamics. This old truck is not roadworthy anymore but made a fine photograph, good clarity, balanced and sharp focused image. Beauty a bucketful, Congrats
