Photographer's Note
Hello Everyone,
Maybe a simple shot but I hope you like it. It could have been taken anywhere but was, in fact, taken in a New York cafe, everything ready to encourage customers in, maybe for a celebration.
It struck me, though I hope I'm not predicting wrong, that Joe Biden just may be getting the glasses out, in the same way, ready for a little celebration. (Though I imagine he will be on bubbly!)
It has taken a surprising length of time for the votes to be counted, with a conclusive decision not yet reached, but ... Joe Biden seems to be heading for the White House!
See the workshop, too.
Have a good w/e and stay safe, Bev -)

Hi Bev,
The point of view is showing the details of the table setting at the restaurant. It is ready to welcome custoners. It is clear and precise. Have a nice day.

Hello Bev,
Obviously these glasses were not turned over during heavy fighting. But remember that wounded animals are the most dangerous, and the idiot still in the White Supremacy House may soon feel very very wounded and will hit back. Maybe using the armed forces of the Proud Boys, KKK, QAnon followers and all local militias.
But this is a nice and original photo for TE. Let's just hope it will soon symbolize what you intended it to do. ;-)
Best regards,
Gert

Witaj Bev!
This picture reminds me of "what the poet meant by this" ;)
Curious frame, colors and sharpness.
Well done.

Hello Beverly
When Joe is officially declared winner, don't worry my wife and I will drink everything left in our cellar!!
These glasses are crossed as billions of people cross their fingers until the final count!
Au revoir Beverly.

Hello Beverley,
Let's hope the glasses can be used as you wish in your note.
If things turn out differently, we can only drown our sorrows.
Personally, I find it frightening to see how a country with a very long democratic tradition risks sliding into a dictatorship.
Writing this note, I received the news that Joe Biden won in is Pennsylvania and that means GOOD NEWS.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Bev,
This is the first time that I see a table ready to visitors receive, but the glasses crossed on table.
CNN say, that Biden becomes President, one hour ago, I don't know.
This is no honour for VS, with Trump's bickering.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

Good evening Beverley,
Unusual picture, yet conveys elegance and luxury.
Simple, and well conveyed an ambiance. Fine technicals, though I'd like more light to be prevailed.
Wish you a nice weekend,
Ike

Hello Beverley, an excellent close up of the table setting.
I have never seen wine glasses set this way. I was trying to decide whether there was a reflection in the glass on the right, it is certainly interesting.
The cafe/restaurant would be impressed by your shot.
Life in the U.S. is not going to be easy over the next few months!
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Bev
The one thing that Joe has in common with Trump is that he also does drink. Poor fellow! I'm sure that plenty of others would want to celebrate in this cafe. A good still life.
cheers

Hello Bev, Original composition but good for this historical moment. The great hope for the better world with the new president and the lady vice-president.
Not the good day for our government though. When other celebrities gratulated to Biden, our president and TV said it is not yet sure and the votes are still counted, so they wait with the gratulations.
Best regards Malgo

Dear Beverley,
A simple, yet elegant composition. It would inevitable for any wedding-photo series. :)
To answer your question under my latest photo: I crouched and put the camera very low. I preset the focus by guessing and shot 'blindly.' I made several variants and later pick one.
Have a nice evening!
Gy.

Hi Bev,
I also hope Trump goes quietly when lawyers tell him they are not prepared to perjure themselves in court on his behalf, and that Biden arrives in the White House next year without any further ado. When Al Gore lost by a few hundred votes there was a recount but it made little difference and he still lost. Trump is behind by tens of thousands of votes. Good sharpness and framing of the wine glasses. Tfs!
