Photographer's Note
From the website www.zigzagrailway.com.au:
"The Zig Zag is a full size, narrow gauge tourist railway located at Clarence, 10km east of Lithgow in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia. Built in the 1860s, and acclaimed a major engineering feat of its time, it was constructed to enable produce to be taken to Sydney from the prosperous farming areas beyond the Blue Mountains and to develop the coal and iron ore deposits found in the Lithgow Valley. The Zig Zag consists of a series of sloping tracks forming the letter 'Z'. The track passes over three magnificent sandstone viaducts, through two tunnels. There are striking views over the surrounding countryside."
I highly recommend taking a ride on the Zig Zag steam train - our tour guide/driver was enthusiastic & entertaining. This shot was taken from the seat next to the driver's seat - the wheel you see is the manual brake.

Courts,
I like how you have captured the brake wheel in the immediate FG.
I do feel a bit like I am the driver - so a good POV.
Good use of B&W. The portrait shot has worked well here.
Regards,
Graham.

Hi Courtney, this is an excellent shot - really original. I like the use of vertical, the DOF, the cropping of the wheel in the FG and your choice of seppia to give us that idea of timelessness. Great work, I look forward to seeing more of your shots especially from Africa. Kind regards, Lisa.
