Photographer's Note
A picture from one of my favourite places. This is in the Jervis Bay National Park where a bush fire devistated the landscape more than 6 months ago. Slowly but surely the life is returning as can be seen here. A very alien looking landscape. I dont know the correct name for the resiliant plant in the foreground, but the native seems to be the main survivor from the fires.

A kind of POV I like a lot, and a very well spot on the recovery of this tragedy. This is well composed with good sharpness and nice opposition of cold/warm tones. The deep blue shading comes out very well as a background for this scene. And the green leaves are well opposed to the thin and fragile branches behind it. Very fine work Chris.

I think its' a blackboy. Not sure if that's politically correct these days.

I like the way your image fills the frame, & the tonal variations.

Nice shot Chris, with the dead trees and the foliage of the plant in the foreground (I don't know its name either)providing interesting contrast of colour and shape against that lovely blue of the sky. Amazing how the land regenerates after our bushfires - you're right - resilience is the word for it.

This one's nicely composed, with well saturated colors and interesting radial shape of the leaves in the down-left corner. Interesting note... Well seen !

Again a fine nature composition from a very low POV that lends impact to the beautiful shapes and lines of the recovering vegetation. Beautiful "earthy" tones and a great blue sky as a backdrop. Simple at first look but very well thought out and executed, Chris.

The clear blue sky behind is great.
