Photographer's Note

Last month we spent a couple of beautiful winter's days in Port Stephens, about 100km north of Sydney. We got up before dawn and found some beautiful light with a variety of boats to place in the foreground. Hope you like this one.

Hello Chris,
A beautifully toned composition that perfectly suits the panoramic format. The boats with their different shapes and sizes are nicely spread across the frame and the lighting is superb. A pity we can't see it as a large format image; the dimensions would seem to be about right.

The yellow of the sky really is spectacular! A very beautiful reflections and a brilliant yellow contrasts well with the blue and the silhouettes of the vessels. You've chosen a format that makes the picture even more beautiful!

it was worth the time to get up in the morning and shoot this scene!
love the composition, smartly placing the boats all over the frame, keeping the eyes busy.
the golden hues are A+.

it tells me that no sunset ia the same and certainly never cliche or boring!
