Photographer's Note
The Sydney Harbour Bridge seen from the suburb of Kirribilli on the north side of the harbour. Kirribilli is a pleasant suburb to walk around, and you can get to the shore in many places. The bridge is sometimes known as The Coat Hanger by Sydney residents, because it looks a bit like a coat hanger (but you would have to own a pretty big coat to hang on this structure!).

Hi Vince
Looks like it was a bit breezy going by the chop in the water - but that adds extra texture to a good photo of the coathanger. Good use of the stone structure in the foreground.
cheers

Hello Vincent,
The bridge is well known but always looks good. This time it's well complemented by the nicely patterned jetty going diagonally into the very dark blue water.

Hi Vincent,
I suppose this bridge is so huge that there are a lot of points of view to photograph it from!
Even the smaller version of it in Newcastle, I have photographed from so many angles already and I still find new POVs.
Very nice angle here. The whole focus is this time on the bridge. We have a stone pier in the foreground which adds a nice touch. We can look at various details of the bridge now. I like the all blue background with the sea also reflecting the perfectly blue sky.
Excellent work,
M

Hello Vincent,
This is a very recognisable bridge and would be a very elegant coat hanger in anyone's opinion!
I really like how you have set the bridge, guiding across the frame, as a b/g feature. The stone jetty, in the f/g, makes a very effective guide and contrasts in its materials.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Vincent,
Good view of the Coat Hanger. The coat shold be huge but what about the wardrobe? Excellent composition with a lot of blue sky and water. You found a nice view point with only nature shown.
I remember that it is possible to go high up there (I wouldn't do that) but I do not see any brave people.
Best regrads Malgo

Hello Vincent,
A fantastic classic view of the famous Harbour Bridge. I really like the dark blue water and the lighter sky. The bridge stands out so well against it. Good inclusion of the diagonal pier in the foreground as well.

Hi Vince
A remarkable copy of the Hells Gate rail bridge in New York, built a few years before this one. Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!
