Photographer's Note
Just because Din Tiranatvitayakul has almost the same photo and did receive many points, I post mine too ;-).
No, it's just fun to see that the world is big and small together. I hope it won't change cause I really like travelling, especially since my journey through Australia and New Zealand. Just awesome!!
Anyway, if you ever visit Melbourne, don't forget the men's toilet on the 35th floor of the Sofitel Hotel in the citycenter (see my photos). Just a good laugh! ;-)
PS. Photo is edited in photoshop: auto color, auto level, duplicate layer and some more level and then give the duplicate layer a 44% opacity. Neatimage and voila! (still a bit unsharp :-( )

Wonderful nightshot, you captured the colors very well and the composition is very good, too. Good job.

Very informative note Koen, and great technique.
Well done, I'll keep that 35th floor story in mind when I go there :-))

Nice, it would have been even better if you had a wider angle lens so you could get some more of to the left and also maybe a bit less cropping on the bottom so you can see more reflections on the water. But very good colours and very good exposure.

Beautiful composition of colours. I like the reflection on the water and the slight blur. Good picture; you should be proud of this!

Good nightshot! I like buildings against the cloudy sky. Nice colors and reflexions too. I ask myself what if you had used another exposure time (longer) with less opening... Did you use a tripod?

I really like this. I think the colours are great and the composition perfect. If you'd used a wider lens the buildings would have appeared much shorter. I like it just the way it is.
I also like this photo because those two tall buildings in the centre with the blue lights at the top stood out in the Melbourne citiscape as I was returning from a very memorable drive along The Great Ocean Road in May of 2002. Thanks for bringing those memories back Koen.
Congratulations on a great photo.
