Photographer's Note
In the sheep yards, they get a bit crowed but keep their head up and noses in the air. The central nose has a black skin spot right on it's nostril making it look a bit odd.

A very - umm - charming - image. Those sheep look so cute, and they are perfectly framed. Very good.

Nice to "see" you back Pam! And with such a great shot...
Absolutely wonderfully composed, very sharp, nicely soft coloured, and perfectly framed.
Please send me a King Size Poster of it... ;o)

I really like this one - it's cute, and perfectly composed. Is it just me or are some of the sheep having a really bad hair day?

Goody! I used to maintain a flock of these beautiful creatures when I was a postgrad student at Massey so this photograph brings a lot of wonderful memories. Like torben and Porteplume said, perfectly framed and captured.

I think I have made my choice for my new jumper.
Framing is excellent and the picture is very clear with a "wool"color. I feel myself warm by looking at this photograph.

J'aime beaucoup cette photo, elle est très réussie, bien vue et bien cadrée. La couleur également est superbe.
I like very much this photo, it is very successful, seen well and centred well. The colour also is magnificent.

Very well done. The subtle pinkish color on the wool is greal and the black frames really enhances the black nostrils of these cuties.

Amusante photo. C'est la quantité qui fait la qualité de la photo dans ce cas.
Nice shot.

And who said all sheep look the same...:) A most pleasing image. These sheep look like merino sheep, although the coat is not uniform... are these a mixed breed? Are they waiting to be sheared? Pure new wool...

This is cute!!! I love how a couple of them are actually looking at the camera! I think the whole bunch of them together make a real nice composition!

I love thos "pattern" photos and this is a really nice one. The croping is verry good, mabye yoy could crop it a bit more on the left hand side. The half face is bottering me, just atiny bit.
Great photo.

Wonderful capture, Pam. I like the sepia tones here, and the tight, crowded, cropping.
I wonder why they all smiling at the camare (or the camera holder).

i like this one allot. the repetition of the sheep makes for a good no single subject but an entier picture .Im not sure if that is clear or not. one more sheep in the bottom left would have made it perfect i think. I wonder if adjusting the contrast a bit would pull more out of it. I dont think that the photo needs it but was wondering if you had and what the results were like.

I've heard that sheep dogs needing to get to the other side of the herd will simply run across the backs of the sheep. This shot shows me how that could be possible. Nicely done!

beautiful, i´m glad i found your photo!!
Most of all, i like the composition.
Then, when we look in detail, the sheep in the front, with her long curly hair hiding her eyes is really something...
I like the fact that we don´t see the sky nor the grass, and it becomes a monochromatic image... i want a poster too!

Hi Pam,
Great picture ! Sheeps have always been (and will always be) animals that I find funny thanks to this expression in the eyes that you perfectly captured. The framing makes you feel a little bit dizzy or think you are kind of in a nightmare as they seem to be everywhere !
All details of the wool are very sharp, and they all have something special.
Thanks for sharing and congratulations for this great picture !

Belle photo toute en douceur! J'aime le choix du sujet et le cadrage des moutons à l'infini... Cependant, j'ai osé un léger recadrage pour éliminer les dos en avant-plan et le petit museau de gauche. Qu'en pensez-vous?

Hello Pam xx, the principal thing and what more attracts attention of me of this image they are it conceited and elegant that they are these sheeps with a beyond the common hairstyle with his curled fringes and his looks of indifference ......:)
The photo is very interesting for the exact framing and the good definition. Good work.
Congratulations and a greeting.
