Photographer's Note
QUEBRADA DE HUMAHUACA. Vividly colored landscapes frame this village Purmamarca, an indigenous village lying against the Cerro de los Siete Colores (Seven-color hills) which strata illustrates various geological ages known as La Paleta del Pintor (The Artist's Pallet). This was taken at about 7am to catch the sun hitting into the valley. This is the photo as it got burned on the CD from the neg no photo shop editing natural colors

I really like the colors here Paul, but wish that it were a larger image. It also seems a bit unsharp, but still an attractive image to my eye.

Do you know it really likes to a Van Gogh painting?
Monique said it right, rich colours here. And very well observed! I only wish you had a larger format to offer us...

It reminds me of a lava flow, the colours are so alive and hot! Super photo, and yes the early morning is a great time for photos. Well done Paul.

The colours are truly inspiring!
Though I do wish the image was larger and sharper.
The place does really seem wonderful!!

Amazing. The place is so unusual that seems from other planet. This is the problem with extrange landscapes. You have to claim that no photoshop is involved in such colors. Nature is not natural sometimes. Few photos, like this one, can tell that. Congratulations for the photo and for having been there!

What an incredible range of colours! Too bad the pic itself is so small! Anyways, great job you did here.

This is a fine shot. You have got the colour scheme very well. Looks life an impressionist painting. I am glad you did nothing to the original image. It is really nice that you got an image which needs no embellishment.
