Photographer's Note
Sheep grazing on the higher slopes of Isla del Sol, at about 4200m. altitude. Taken midday under strong sunlight, I tried to darken the sky and the sheep. I will add another version to workshop. This almost at the highest point of the island. The island is the largest of Lake Titicaca.

Very nice! Great colors, and great panoramic view. And you avoided the distortions of the wide angle nicely!

Amazing definition a depth of field. Great composition with the sheep in the foreground and beautiful blues in the water there. I've been considering buying this lens and I think I've just been sold on it!

Merhaba Tan. Spectacular view, the vantage point giving you an eagle's eye on things around you.darkening the sky has created a wonderful mood and extra variations of the blue that covers the water. The clouds are dramatic in their shapes and low altitude. The village and the terraces look lovely in the sun. My compliments. Regards. Klaudio.

Hey Tan,
Another wonderful view here, showing the small separation between the islands. The sheep look quite content nibbling on not much green.
The water on the right looks overly dark (is this from post-processing?) or is it just the different depths?
Otherwise a great shot.
Regards,
David
P.S. As Richie commented, I have been looking at this lens? I take it you are happy with it as I've noticed alot of your photos are taken with this lens.

Hi Tan,
Wow! Sheeps in the sky, sheeps on the ground... How have you done this! :-P)
A typical Yilmazian view with a living foreground, about that! I hyaven't check on your map, but I really wonder what will you do in Netherlands, where there's no actual mountains... Would you bring your own ladder? Jokes aside, you've done a fabulous job once again to find and capture a splendid panoramic view over the island and its surrounding.
Light seems to come out directly above you and since it's 90° with your lens, you did the right thing to use your polarizer, so the contrasts are punchy and the blue is deep. Beautiful!
Cheers!

Deux superbes photos à la composition très réussie avec une profondeur de champ impeccable. Le ciel en arrière plan est superbe et vient encore enjoliver ce fantastique point de vue. Une grande réussite!

Hello Tan,
Good pose from those two little fellows!
Impressive altitude but the sheep don't seem to mind, I'm more worried by the apparent lack of grass...
Pleasant point of view and an impressive cloud formation in the horizon!

Hi Tan
A superb downward pov, into the valley, towards the lake, with the sheep in the fg adding good depth. Wonderful colour & sharpness. Marvellous lighting contrasts. Tfs!

Hola Capitan
How cute ! You did your PP well because the harsh light does not schock me on both views, and we can enjoy the depth of this landscape well introduced to by this first class foreground. I wish I had toured Bolivia with the 40d and plenty of storage...
Have a nice day,

Hi Tan,
That is superb work: It combines documentary and geographical value with excellence in photographic skills... The compo is great with solid FG, not disturbing the breathtaking view...
Technically and aesthetically perfect.

Wow, what a view!
It seems like your POV is above the clouds... which is not very unlikely given the altitude.
great clarity and DOF, well composed with those sheep in the fg.
An excellent work

Hi Tan,
Beautiful lake scene with a lot of interesting details: terrace fields, village, sheep. I think I prefer the WS version for the look of sheep and lighter exposure. This has better framing though.

Wow - Lake Titicaca! This is one of earth's mythical places, and you have visited it! Great view of the lake and the island, showing the overview of the whole area, and at the same time showing us a close in shot of the sheep, which of course adds a lot of interest and helps to really bring this to life. Well done!

Hi Tan. As well as this being another of your signature from-the-best-vantage-point-around landscapes, with a nicely polarised cloudscape in the background, the sheep are perfectly positoned in this and add an excellent element of foreground interest that is often lacking in landscape shots. Cheers . . . David

I know also this place. I prefer this one with the two sheeps. Perfect management of the DOF to get a good sharpness in the foreground and also on the background.

Hi Tan.
I like the low POV that enhances the beauty of the perspective towards the islands and the coast. Nice foreground with these sheep grazing what they can find on the rocky ground. The sky is fantastic.
Thanks for sharing.
