Potosi isn't a city easy to love, it is one of the highest towns in the world, around 4,100 meters altitude, it is cold and dry most part of the day, night and year, there is few trees there. Anyway it is full of marvelous old buildings, memories of the time when it was one of the richest towns in the wide world. In the background you can see a big mountain, so famous by history. It is told that Spaniards got so much silver from that mountain that it would be possible to build a bridge linking Potosi to Spain. Nowadays the silver is gone and Bolivians get other minerals inside the same mountain that was hardest than the hell during the colonial time. Here we can see a tipical church of Potosi, I am not sure but I guess it is San Francisco church. We can see the typical Spanich balconies. I tryied to swap the cian hue of the sky.

Potosi não é uma cidade fácil de ser amada, é uma das mais altas cidades do planeta, com cerca de 4.100 metros de altitude. É árida e gelada a maior parte do dia, da noite e do ano, existem poucas árvores por ali.De qualquer maneira ela está repleta de velhos e belos edifícios, herança de seus tempos de glória, quando era uma das mais ricas cidades do mundo.
Ao fundo vocês podem ver uma grande montanha, tão famosa na história. Dizem que os espanhóis retiraram tanta prata dali que seria possível fazer uma ponte unindo Potosi à Espanha. Hoje em dia a prata não existe mais, mas os outros minerais, desprezados pelos espanhóis, são retirados agora pelos bolivianos. O interior desta montanha era tal qual um versão terrível do inferno nos tempos coloniais. Vemos na foto uma das igrejas de Potosi, creio que seja a de San Francisco. Vemos ainda uma série dos famosos balcões espanhóis. Tentei diminuir o tom cian do céu.
