It was taken in the altiplano (desert) during my trip around the southwest of my country (Bolivia).
There is a funny place where you can see a lot of stones with faces ... :-)

I thought it may have been Easter Island judging from the thumbnail, but discovered it's a natural phenomenon, in Bolivia, upon opening it. Good silhouette & graphism. Tfs!

Hola EDGAR Alejandro! Por los vistos estamos haciendo inventario de las fotos. Esta particularmente me recuerda mucho a las esculturas de la isla de pascua. Personalmente aumentar韆 la saturaci髇 de las sombras y aplicar韆 un filtro para el ruido del cielo. Buena comparaci髇 con el perfil de una persona riendo!!

Muy interesante roca que se parece en cierto sentido a las que vemos en la Isla de Pascua, la captaste con una buena perspectiva permitiendonos observar los alrededores del lugar que parecen ser muy aridos.

Hola Alejandro,
I like most of your photos but, to me, these landscape photos of Bolivia are something very special and I really love them.
The back lit scene here would have made capturing a good image a bit of a challenge but, with all the visible detail in the shadows, you've managed to do a pretty good job. Although the colours in the shaded portion of the photo are a little subdued, the bright, clear sky more than compensates. I also like the way you composed this pic and the image quality, as usual for your work, is excellent.
Nice posting. If you have more of these images, I'd love to see them!

If it's not happy rock.. maybe it's his cousin glad stone..LOL. Great formation and a good job of catching it, with excellent contrast in both light and color.

Que roca mas curiosa y que paisaje tan 醨ida!
Me gusta mucho por el aspecto documental y por el pov. El ajuste de exposici髇 esta muy bueno, hay detalle en las sombras y las partes bajo el sol.
Quiz醩 ficara mas "punchy" con m醩 saturacion, porque me parece un poco p醠ida.
