Photographer's Note

Salar de Uyuni (or Salar de Tunupa) is the world's largest salt flat at 10,582 km� (4,085 square miles). It is located in the Potos� and Oruro departments in southwest Bolivia, near the crest of the Andes, 3,650 meters high. The major minerals found in the salar are halite and gypsum.

While I was crossing it, aboard of this off-road, I was thinking you can drive even blinded for several minutes without running any risk.

This a classic view and composition from the salary lakes of Bolivia. Colors and contrasts are really well handled, very good work.

scatto eccezionale. contrasto cromatico incredibile tra bianco e blu. un vuoto pieno con colori incredibili.
un rimpianto: non potr� mai salire a queste altitudini...
unica consolazione: esiste un posto simile - anche se non cos� magico -come il tuz golu in Turchia in cui ho potuto avere una sensazione simile

Next year I intend to go in south-america and any good photo and note from there it make me feel closer! your shots are damn good! but I think this shot it could be better if you crop from the sky - the horizon line is not quite good to be right in the midle. just an idea!

veramente molto bella, secondo il mio punto di vista quasi perfetta (quel quasi perch� avrei provato a tenere la macchina un pochino pi� bassa nell'inquadratura).
Comunque, molto spettacolare.

Composizione semplicissima: soggetto ai 2/3 dell'inquadratura, con lo spazio maggiore vuoto davanti a se', nel senso della direzione del moto. Natura spettacolare e un tributo alla "nave del deserto", la Landcruiser HJ60.
