There抯 no story connected to this photo. The only real problem was strong contrast � dark cactus island and shining salt surface. I think this photo is a good example of classing 3 plans layout � interesting foreground, middle plan salt plains and distant mountains in the background.

I think your gallery is excellent, like in this case for example, and the fact that you did not receive any comment here is a shame. Expecially compared to many very average photos here on TE that receive tons of points, because the author sends points to others.
