Main stop of the boat trips that depart from the city of Barra Grande, in the Mara� Peninsula, the Pierced Rock Island is one of the most beautiful of the Camamu Bay. Even being a private property, tourists are allowed to visit the interior of the island for a small fee. In the photo, the rock formation that gives name to the island.

Nature's creation of a gate that mayber was part of a cave carved by the sea for millions of years.

Hello Alexandre, an arch has been sculpted in the rock by the seawater. The waves strenght have eroded the coastline for centuries. Halophile plants grow in the holes found in the rock, they can tolerate high salinity, few water and soil. Perfect image quality. Amiti閟

Hello Alexandre,

What a attractive, natural feature!
It makes an unusual, natural window through which you have been able to frame the sea and the boat.
I wonder how you would feel about cropping the photograph so that we can see the window through the rock but not the vegetation on the right. In such a way, our attention is focussed purely through the gap, the boat seems closer and there are no distractions from this 'window'.
I would have done a w/s but have used my allocation for the day.
Just try it and see what you think.
