Ponta do Mut�, a photo from Bahia, Northeast

Photographer's Note

The beach of Ponta do Mut�, in the extreme north of the Mara� Peninsula, has calm sea, clear sand and is great to spend the day, however it is in the late afternoon that it becomes one of the main attractions of the peninsula, when tourists arrive to watch the sunset. In the high season, the parties continue at night, with bonfire, good drinks and sparkling glasses to toast the beauties of Bahia.

Hello Alexandre,
The sunset is beautiful and produced some lovely colours in the sky. The rays of the sun are nicely seen from behind the clouds. The silhouettes of the people, admiring the sunset, and the two parasols are well included in the foreground.

You captured the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere very well. The colours are beautiful and the rays of the setting sun look spectacular above the golden-lined cloud. But above all it's the silhouettes of people and umbrellas that tell us of the pleasure experienced here. You composed the photo well and the exposure is spot on.

brilliant sunset photo. The sun is nicely hidden behind the clouds to avoid over exposure.
We can still see some sun rays passing behind the clouds.
What a lovely sky!
The silhouettes provide so much life and interest to the photo.
Some people sit and relax while other enjoy the walk along the beach or take photos.
The silhouettes of umbrellas add a holiday feeling while the couple adds a romantic touch.
