The bird is posing well and seen from a good angle, and the photo has a beautiful simplicity. I love the metallic blue tones of the bird's head and upper back. You captured it with a marvellous sharpness and placed it well towards the side and looking the right way. Very nicely done.

Striking are the light blue feathers on its head and the upper part of its wing.
The bird is curiously looking down why that photographer is so interested in it.

An excellent capture, and I say this because swallows always keep flying rarly take a "rest" and if they do - it is on a high spot, Alexandre.
Our Israeli swallows are black, and this specie has marvelous different colors.

Ola Alexandre Many thanks for this sweet souvenir of my youth;
I was a country boy and every morning many barn swallows were aligned on the power line between our house and the road pole, performing in chorus loud concerts or exchanging the latest morning news for a while! Then they left all of a sudden without waiting for my applause! Impeccable technique despite difficult lighting. Abraços.
