Photographer's Note
This is a stray dog that lives in my street, sometimes it ask for some bone for the butcher of my shop, sometimes it goes to the truck that remove the bones asking for one, my neighbor sometimes let a rest of food for him in the sidewalk. Dogs are needy animals and need interaction with humans and a family ahead even give it more food and it protect them, their home and house, but the animal lives in the streets, free and menaced as any other abandoned animal, facing rain and cold nights with no shelter.
Here we can see a truck driver and his helper from another city having a pause for the lunch after have bought a packed lunch in a local restaurant. The animal recognize the aluminium plate and felt the smell of the food and is waiting a chance. Ludy is its name.

Esse � Ludy, um cachorro vira-latas que vive em minha rua, vez em quando ele pede um osso ao a鏾ugueiro, em outros dias ele segue o rapaz que remove os ossos e que sempre lhe d� algum. Minha vizinha deixa restos na cal鏰da para ele. C鉫s s鉶 muito carentes de companhia humana e uma fam韑ia mais abaixo lhe d� mais comida, apesar de n鉶 pertencer a eles, mas ainda assim o animal protege os donos, seu carro e sua casa. Mas ele � um animal de rua, com liberdade para gozar a vida e riscos maiores, frio e chuva sem um abrigo.
Aqui vemos dois caminhoneiros almo鏰ndo e o cachorro ao certo reconheceu a marmita e sentiu seu cheiro e espera a chance de comer alguma coisa.

Hello Jorge,
Is there a desire to adopt this stray dog so that it will have a home, since it seems eager to protect those who feed it?
This is a journalistic photograph recording the everyday life on the streets of your town, with a good, inferred link between the hungry dog and the feeding drivers.
This used to happen on our streets but not now. Stray dogs (quite rare) would be caught and penned, cared for and offered to people as pets.

You have captured well the dog watching the men having lunch and hopefully waiting for leftovers. The point of view is showing the details of the dog and of the truck. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Jorge,
I keep being surprised with the street scenes which you manage to capture in your town. There is a strong connection here between the dog hoping for a bone or leftover food and the guys eating their lunch in the truck.

costumam ser os melhores esses cachorros, aqui em minha rua vez ou outra aparece alguns, mas n鉶 s鉶 fixos, j� gatos devem ter uns 15 que as "senhoras" da rua cultivam. Chega a dar discuss鮡s no grupo da rua, uns querem envenenar, ao passo que as senhoras os tratam melhor que os filhos delas. T韕ico da intoler鈔cia que impera no Brasil hoje, e sobra pros pobres coitados dos gatos. Uns tempos atr醩 uns 10 "se suicidaram" na rua, deu at� pol韈ia, e no final pizza.

Hello Jorge, I remember the stray dogs in Chile. They all looked like this one and were very patient and friendly, they have never barked and one could see them in quite large numbers everywhere. Lovely scene. It is a stray dog but has even the name. I hope you give him some bones now and then. Charming scene.
